The international fair and congress Expo Andes to be held between October 12 and 14 at the Metropolitan Santiago convention center, will bring together professionals, companies and institutions of tourism and mountain safety in South America, to analyze the progress, conflicts and development of the industry. The exhibition, which will seek to share knowledge, experiences, innovation and good practices that will allow our mountain tourism to be a world quality reference, will count with the participation of CIL Explosives, a company that was formed in 1910 and currently supplies the most important industries in Canada that need explosive products. Since 1996, CIL Avalanche Control Explosives has been providing specialty explosives for avalanche control operations in North America and around the world. Because of this specialization, CIL is able to work closely with customers and Avalanche Professional Association groups by giving back a percentage of its profits and creating scholarships to continue the professionalism of the workers who support CIL. CIL employs professional avalanche workers as employees for the benefit of clients and the development of new products designed by and for Avalanche Control workers. At Expo Andes CIL will be showcasing the CIL Imperial Avalauncher system, the CIL Classic 1kg snowlauncher, the CIL Thunderbolt 1.5kg snowlauncher and the SnowPro 1kg Hand Charge. CIL also looks forward to hearing from new and existing customers in the ski and mining industry to see what product they need to make their jobs easier.
